Inland and Foreign rates, 1946 to 1999

(1):   The concessionary rates for postcards to:

Austria: 50 f from 01.01.1947 to 31.03.1959, and 4 ft from 01.01.1983 to 14.06.1987(?) (otherwise full foreign rate)

Bulgaria: 50 f from 01.01.1951 to 14.11.1967, then 40 f to 14.11.1968 and thereafter the same as the 'other places' inland rate

Czechoslovakia: the same as the 'other places' inland rate from 01.08.1946

German Democratic Republic: 40 f from 01.01.1964 to 14.11.1968, and thereafter the same as the 'other places' inland rate

Poland: same as German Democratic Republic

Romania: 60 f from 01.11.1977 to 31.01.1982, then 1 ft to 20.01.1985.

Soviet Union: same as German Democratic Republic

Vietnam: 40 f from 01.01.1964 to 14.11.1968, then 50 f to 31.01.1981, then 2 ft to 20.01.1985.

Yugoslavia: 50 f from 01.05.1959 to 31.03.1966, 40 f to 14.11.1968, and thereafter the same as the 'other places' inland rate.
