(1)  Rates apply to standard letters addressed to Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, Romania, Yugoslavia, Soviet Union, Poland, Vietnam, German Democratic Republic, and Austria. To Czechoslovakia the weight limit is 30 g. For higher weights, special rates apply to Czechoslovakia: 8 Ft (250 g), 12 Ft (500 g), 16 Ft (1000 g), 20 Ft (2000 g). For other countries the higher weights are at standard rates.

(2)  As (1) but rates to Czechoslovakia: 10 Ft (250 g), 15 Ft (500 g), 20 Ft (1000 g), 25 Ft (2000 g).

(3)  Rate applies to standard letters to Czechoslovakia only. Higher rate of 12 Ft applies to other countries listed at (1) above. Higher weight rates for Czechoslovakia: 12 Ft (100 g), 17 Ft (250 g), 25 Ft (500 g), 30 Ft (1000 g) 35 Ft (2000 g).

standard mail up to 22 g is 22 Ft; standard rates apply for higher weights.

(6)  As (5) but all non-
standard and higher weight step mail is at standard rates.

(7)  The first listed rate is a special rate for Austria, Slovak Republic, Croatia, Yugoslavia, Romania, Slovenia and the Ukraine only for letters under 20 g, normal rates apply to non-
standard mail and all mail above 20 g.
